Dear Sirs,

We send you herewith print LF 1220 on which we have shown in red the position in which it was originally intended to fit the K.S gauge on our experimental 40/50 h.p. chassis petrol tanks. We have also shown in blue the position in which we are compelled to place this instrument in order to clear the coachwork.

You will notice that the top of the gauge is slightly higher than intended, and would like to know if you consider if this will have any material effect upon the accuracy of the instrument.

Yours faithfully,

(Signed) R.W. Harvey Bailey.

Technical Production Engineer.
