Dear Sirs, We beg to thank you for your letter of the 28th ultimo., enclosing print IF 1220, showing the altered position of the Hobson K-S Telegage, on your experimental 40/50 H.P. chassis. Our corresponding number for this installation is K.S.180, and we enclose copy of drawing K.S.180, showing the old position in red, and your new modified position in blue. The tank units of the gauges which we have hitherto supplied against your orders for this number, will not work in the new position and give the accuracy required. If this modification is incorporated in the tanks to which you are fitting those K.S.180s, already delivered, it will be necessary to make new tank units entirely for this installation. In connection with this matter, we may mention that we have to-day despatched three K.S.180s, against your order No.84395, and if it is intended to modify the tanks | ||
