Biraben} [struck through] -------------------- Ba/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}16/N.17.1.38. -------------------- B.III - Steering Column. -------------------- The position of the steering column on 1.B.5. has been settled and set out with a Wraith steering wheel by BY/HEB.{H. Biraben} On 2.B.5. and subsequent cars, we wish to fix the column position as follows:- (1) Level top of frame to underside of steering wheel 20.500. (2) Back of dash to back of steering wheel 34.000. We assume this will be a Marles type column with an 18.000 diameter wheel, either of the present Bentley spring type or the plastic type.
