BENTLEY 111. REVISED MIXTURE CONTROLS OPERATED FROM STEERING COLUMN.

F.J.H.

Herewith please receive

E.CD.332 Mixture Controls Operated from Steering Column Bentley 111.

This design replaces the mixture controls shown on the previous designs E.CD.251/2, and it should be noted calls for alterations to the mixture levers on carburetters, the carburetters are otherwise as used for Bentley 11. An alternative type of throttle control is also under consideration, which would affect the upper portion of the throttle controls shown on E.CD.251/2 and when a decision is arrived at, we shall include any modifications to the throttle controls on design drawing E.CD.332 which will then be re-issued.

Will Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} please note the required arrangement of levers on the steering column for the engine controls. The final method of operating the control of the damper governor unit has not yet been decided on, and a further design to show this will be required.

For the first Bentley 111 car, which will be fitted with a Wraith 111 type of steering column, it will be necessary to make slight alterations to the controls to suit, as the designs have been made to suit the steering column designed for Bentley 111 which will be used when available.
