To Mr.Vickers (Iron Foundry) from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Mths.{Reg Matthews} + 1124 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Mths.{Reg Matthews}6/MH.{M. Huckerby}12.11.37. This is to confirm our conversation of the other day in which you agreed to supply us with 16 Cylinder liners in the material used by Leylands, and which were produced by you some time ago. The liners should be of such dimension in the bore that they will clean up on machines to 3.250 dia. and so be suitable for Phantom III engines should the occasion arise for us to fit them to this scheme.
