This statement surprises me, as we have certainly had submitted to us samples of tubes in Continental Bakelite. I am sending EFC. copies of two letters from Robert W. Blackwell & Co.Ltd., dated 3rd and 5th ult. respectively, giving prices of Bakelite Dilecto and Continental Bakelite. He will note that as regards rods and tubes, Blackwells state that the number and sizes of these are so infinite that it is practically impossible to issue a price list, but they would always be pleased to give us prices for any definite enquiry by return of post. This morning we have received a letter from North & Sons Ltd., Watford, stating that they have recently received a letter from Blackwell & Co. stating that the fabric used in the manu-facture of small rods of Continental Bakelite is linen, not cotton. This information has been furnished in connection with an enquiry by North & Sons for 7/16" and 5/16" rods. I should like this information to be added to that given (under 3) in mine Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}10/NJ11.11.21, headed "Insulating Materials". [STAMP: RECEIVED FC 14 NOV] 2 Ltrs.att.
