X421 Exptl. Dept. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 8/KW. 21st December, 1934. G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} Hack Esq., Messrs. Rudge-Whitworth Limited, Coventry. Dear Mr. Hack, Thank you for your letter of the 27th November. We certainly have had some wheel hubs pick up, but the actual sample that occurred in the T.T. is not available. However, I send you another taken off a customer's car. Our mechanics are of the opinion that the heavy mass of the ears on the hubs of Hall's car caused the wheels when running to tighten up to such an extent that the greatest difficulty was experienced in removing them. We attach prints showing our suggestions for overcoming this trouble. We are particularly anxious to get this job right by the end of January, and therefore should be glad to have your comments. Yours sincerely, Att: Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1658/9. | ||
