This has been placed before Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and he is of the opinion that we should discourage as far as possible the visits of foreigners to our Works, and he wishes a tactful reply to be sent to the letter putting off the visit of Mr. Dufresne. It is rather a coincidence that on the same day that your memo was received, we also received a communication from the Society of British Aircraft Constructors Ltd. warning us to be very careful in dealing with any applications for visits of foreigners.
