Messrs. British Timken Ltd.,
Cheston Road,
Aston,
Birmingham 7.

For the attention of W.E. Hobley Esq.

Dear Sirs,

In answer to your letter of the 26th September, we wish to say that, while under normal conditions in the Aircraft industry we should be delighted to show your guests round our Works, this is unfortunately not possible at present.

Our motor car and aero work are to a certain extent intermixed and you will appreciate that any regulations concerning the aero section must automatically affect the motor car section. We wish to assure you that we are very sorry this is so, as it is our normal policy on motor car work to encourage a free interchange of information.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
