Dear Mr Grylls,

The VM.30 and S.4947 discs for the clutch servo motor will be posted to you tonight, and we trust that you will succeed in establishing one, or both, of them satisfactorily.

We should welcome a line from you on the question of splines, internal or external, and would remind you that from the friction fabric manufacturer's point of view the internal is much more economical than the external.

Yours very truly,
FERODO LIMITED,

Chief Chemist.
