STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Date 22.6.26
Description of Parts: H.T. Distributor Rotor, Stainless steel blade and sparking points, and omission of steel spring washers under sparking points.
Origin: To minimise corrosive effect and in a lesser degree the burning of the sparking points.
Experimental Test Report.
From tests that have been made we consider that stainless steel is better for absence of corrosion and burning.
See attached note ref. EFC2/T27.5.26.
Road Test Report.
Run 10,000 miles on 10-G-III in France.
Condition at the finish of test satisfactory.
