Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Oy. X7772 BY18/N.17.3.30. Re; 2 L.H. CHASSIS. With reference to the wheels and tyres for the above, I have received a letter from the Dunlop Rubber Co.Ltd., this morning in which they point out that they have discussed the question of 7 x 19" tyres with Mr Collyer who happens to be in this country, and they have cabled for two sets of tyres to be shipped immediately, and they hope to be able to deliver them to us within the next fourteen days. In regard to the wheels, the flat base rims have just been shipped from the States, and we anticipate it will be about three weeks before the complete wheels are delivered to us. I suggest that if the chassis is ready before the special wheels are delivered, that tests are started with our standard wheels and tyres. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} | ||
