Modified Steering Controls. - Peregrine 5 is fitted up with the latest steering and controls. This car is our latest Peregrine and as soon as Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} is available we can arrange for him to examine the controls.

2 Engines to run at 1000 HP. - We have two Ministry engines 725 and 727 which are running continuously on overload tests of 1000 HP. testing out connecting rods and valves. We also have on test Exp.IV. engine. This engine is fitted with two-piece blocks which are now out of date and before any serious work can be done it needs improved type cylinders and improved valves and valve seats.

Marles Weller Type Steering.

The promise for this to be completed in fourteen days was not kept owing to the difficulty of producing the parts, causing scrap. New pieces are coming along and we hope to have it next week.

Radiator Shutters of Drawn Section. - We are building up a radiator shutters which have been hand finished. We have also instructed a further set of drawn shutters to be made in steel which the makers promise will allow them to give us a much better finish. We expect to have these in ten to fourteen days time.

Bensport Generally. - It has now been decided that all future engines shall have buttons in the ends of the piston pins. These are being proved out on the test engines and on the cars.
