Swindell} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}7/R.4.3.38. We note on Complaint No.W.130 with GUN37 has broken 4 valve springs in a mileage of 6,727. We observe these are Chrome Vanadium, and we should be interested to know if any defect was found in the wire. We suggest that this is a case where the latest straight carbon valve springs with the anti-surge coiling can be tried. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
