Dear Sirs, We note that in your letter, ref CHS/AMB.101934 of the 12th ult., you mention that on the various steering rollers you are making for us you are increasing the outer track dia. by amounts varying from 0.005 to 0.009. You do not mention an increase of the inner track dia. whereas this would appear to be essential if the contact angle is to be kept at 45°. We are at present altering our drawings to bring them into line with your letter, mentioned above, and we should be glad if you would let us know whether the inner track dia. should be altered.
