Dear Sirs,

Respecting your letter regarding the Nivex Petrol Gauge suitable for the 40/50-HP Petrol Tank F.81182.

We are sending a Gauge, tank fitting, pump, etc. to you on Monday next. As, however, we have not the dip-stick measurements of this particular tank, we are sending it uncalibrated. After we have once got the correct calibration marks this can then be sent out ready for use.

Your drawing shows that there is very little room for the tank fitting to stand out. We have made a special flange as per your drawing, using our ordinary metal union. If you find that our tank fitting stands too far out we can if necessary dispose of this metal union, but before doing so we will see whether you have any comments to make on the sample gauge.

Yours faithfully,

For THE NIVEX GAUGE LIMITED.
