re: CHASSIS B.8.GA - Paris Trials car
-------------------------------------

With reference to Sr's memo to you Sr3/Crn. 3.2.37, we have fitted a set of 35° cams to the servo of this car and Sr. has asked me to inform you that he now considers that the brakes are perfect, except for the crackling or "tinkling" noise of the o/s front drum.

The reason why the 35° servo cams were not fitted was, after the fitting of the 2 G.100562 special brake levers which you sent to us as per your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}4/KW. I6.5.36, we as suggested in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM{Anthony F. Martindale}4/KW.I6.5.36 first tried the new levers, after the fitting of them Sr. complained that the front brakes overheated and "steamed" the levers were therefore, removed, and it was then decided not to fit the 35° cams.
