X-2048 Re - Testing Set.

It would be an advantage if you could arrange with Mr. Ellis to let me have a testing set for volts and amperes, that is, a Weston instrument with shunts suitable for a top scale reading on the instrument of 1.6 amps. and another one for 16 amps. and a resistance suitable for the top reading of 16 volts. This will enable me to measure the current taken for the ignition, charging, and lighting.

If it is a nice apparatus it can be charged to me, but if it is some temporary tackle it can remain the property of the Company. The use I can make of it will not justify the enormous expenditure of having a first class equipment. It would be wicked waste.
