Query regarding proposed battery dimensions for the E.A.C. chassis and 40/50 cars.

| Contd. -2- EFC2/T20.12.23. make new plate moulds, etc. What we are anxious to know at the moment is what is being proposed for the E.A.C. chassis. It would be more worth while our settling upon these dimensions as standard for the various makes of batteries which we may employ, if it was also the standard for the E.A.C. chassis, and though it may be possible in the E.A.C. chassis to get a wider battery and so accommodate the P & R standard, it is perhaps undesirable to have two standard sizes on 40/50 cars.
