B.60 - INDUCTION MANIFOLD WITH CAST-IN STARTER PASSAGE.

Please receive herewith :-

E.CD.1416 Induction Manifold with Cast-In Starter Passage.
B.60.

This design modifies E.CD.1258 to being the B.60 induction pipe into line with the later design of cast-in starter passage recently issued for B.V. to E.CD.1382. The cored passage is of exactly the same proportions as the B.V. pipe, so that the same cores may be used for the small passage for both the pipes.

We have reverted to the B.V. type of starter pipe outlet on the rear carburetter floatchamber, as this gives a better arrangement of starter pipe than the one shown on E.CD. 1258, the carburetters for the B.60 are now the same as used for the 'Corniche'. This alteration to the induction manifold should also be made to the 'Corniche' induction manifold E.CD. 1368, the external pipe between carburetter and inlet pipe will be common to these two engines.

Will you please instruct the alteration to be made for the experimental engines.
