contd :- -2- that the construction be closely watched for the following reasons :- 1. The coachbuilders cannot work to drawings. 2. The chassis is always a strange one, but they are never able to have it or see it. 3. They are not allowed to complete and mount the body. We at WN. are not in a position to do this work, because of the difficulty of getting away at frequent intervals. Derby are situated differently. We would set out the small scale drawing of the body, and for subframe bodies we would make the design of that part. Derby would be responsible for the body construction, in detail, weight and general finish. DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
