IGNITION COIL OF IMPROVED DESIGN.

The points of improved design incorporated in this coil are as follows :-

(1) Primary wound on Paxolin tube over the core thus obviating the use of the two copper securing rings now used.

(2) Secondary wound on Paxolin tube over primary, giving a more rigid base and better winding.

(3) Secondary insulated with two turns of waxed paper per layer the layers being shorter to avoid sparking over ends on open circuit.

(4) Coil impregnated when finished in paraffin wax.

(5) Secondary wound parallel.
