The question of master cylinders and tandem cylinders was ventilated. It was suggested that the ideal way to tackle the job would be for Lockheed's to design a master cylinder in light alloy for Rolls Royce's particular application and it was expected that this would be much more compact and easier to instal than the twin cylinders.
