Re Switch-box taken from 46.G.9.

In reply to your EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 5/T30.8.23m I am not quite certain as to which portion of the switch failed to make proper contact, because before returning it to the Works, I most carefully examined the parts of the switch gear when operating them and decided that in each case when the switch was turned on, the blade when pushed betweenthe two brushes actually moved the two brushes apart, which appeared to indicate that xxx contact was being made.

I do not think we want the switch back here as it has been replaced on the car concerned and the locks of the bonnet are today being altered accordingly.
