To B.J. from Bs.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager} RE:- GUARANTEE. We have recently been asked by one or two customers whether we would give permission to their fitting Rapson Tyres and the point they are particularly concerned about, is the validity of the Guarantee. The following is the clause in the Guarantee which is involved :- "(C) The Chassis shall not at any time, except with our written approval, which in proper cases will be readily given, have been run on tyres other than such as we supply as standard, to wit: size, 895 x 135 m.m. or 895 x 150 m.m; make, Dunlop or Michelin; type, front wheels plain or grooved, back wheels plain, grooved or studded, filling, ordinary inner tubes filled with air." It will be seen that when variations are made from the Tyres mentioned in the Guarantee, the customer is invited to ask our written approval. Will you agree that such written approval should be given in respect of Rapson Tyres. (signed). C/Bs.{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager} | ||
