I am glad to know from R's memorandum, R1/M22/11/23, that he has arrived at an arrangement by which the steering lock will be slightly more than it is at present. As regards the springs I think it would be desirable that you should send us a car fitted with front springs when they and the rubber buffers have been arranged according to R's instructions as set out in the memorandum above referred to.
