21st. January, 1939.

Messrs. Dunlop Rubber Co. Ltd.,
Fort Dunlop,
Erdington,
BIRMINGHAM.

For the attention of Mr. H.E.Price.

Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter of January 20th. with regard to the change-over to the longer wheel shell. The 1550 spoke liners come as a bit of a surprise as we had thought that our commitments ended after the 450 shells.

As the alteration is primarily due to trouble experienced on a wheel with faulty spoking we would like to suggest that you halve the £19.7.6d. with us.

Is this agreeable to you ?

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
