P.II STEERING.

Will you please look into the possibilities of converting a Silver Ghost front axle to roller bearing pivots and ball thrust in a similar manner to the P.II axle recently converted on 20-EX. The object of this is to approach as nearly as possible to American practice, which employs a larger transverse pivot angle than on P.II and which is approximately the same as on the Silver Ghost. We obtained a suitable axle from the Repair Dept. some time ago for this test and it is at present in the yard. We should like this fitted to 20-EX. when modified, to be tried out in conjunction with the Cadillac steering column.
