This car has come in with a very bad thump at approx. 1700 revs. It was too bad to waste time on the oil flow test. This is a further case of a soft crankshaft. The journals are worn and scored, and the crankshaft is to be sent up for BY's attention. A detailed report will be sent in due course upon stripping.
