1030 EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/MHR.{M. H. Rigby}2/ET. 5th November, 1940. 706 STAINLESS SPINNING WORKS, 182, Miller Street, BIRMINGHAM. For the attention of Mr. Blake. Dear Sirs, We thank you for the twelve experimental spring plates which have proved quite satisfactory. We note, however, a cost increase over the original type, of per article. This, we understand, is due to the fact that the plate has to be turned over in between operations. We should be grateful for a general description of how this was done, when we might be able to help you on the design side. Can you give us any idea of the maximum depth of groove which can be spun into the plate without necessitating the turning operation? Yours faithfully, | ||
