WST To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. from E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} E/JNR{Charles L. Jenner}/.2/HP.18.5.34. re Phantom Magneto High Tension Wires. With reference to the perished wires on the recent 10,000 miles car, i notice that when the original aluminium tube was standardized the same thing occurred. At this time i am not sure whether there was fitted an exhaust heat shield or not. This was on 23-EX dated 4.7.30. Since then we have had various changes such as the deletion of the paper lining and altering the ignition tube from aluminium to steel. To the best of our belief there has been no standardization sheets for these modifications, at least we cannot find them. Byles Can you say how this came to be left off E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} | ||
