BT{Capt. J. S. Burt - Engineer}/NS{Norman Scott} c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} CHPS 200B DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}16/G.13.12.37. 428. BENTLEY 111. CHASSIS. CHANGE GEAR LEVER. SEC.6080. Please receive herewith tracing of G.CD.290 showing a temporary scheme for the change gear lever mechanism on the above chassis. The gear lever and support bracket are Wraith pieces, as are the bearing pieces in the Support Bracket, with the exception of two new washers and a new selector spring. The spherical coupling and joints are unaltered. The position of the key in the selector shaft has been modified from that shown on PD.27. The idea of this is to avoid making the special pieces applicable to the Universal Box for one car only. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
