PH/MS. c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 200b Avee DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}5/G.31.12.37. +28 BENTLEY 111. STAY REAR END OF GEARBOX. Please receive herewith blueprints of G.CD.324 showing the above. The front end of the stay is similar to that shown on N.Sch.5202, the gearbox being unaltered. The stay is intended to be produced from .5625 diameter S/ZN. bar "jumbed up" to form the eye at one end and turned down and screwed at the other end. The fixing to the cruciform member consists of circular rubber blocks used in conjunction with a small S/MD. cross member. This arrangement is only applicable to the first car, fitted with the first "Universal" gear box. WYMAN DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
