Dear Sirs,

With reference to our "Specification of Performance of 6-cylinder Magneto (with automatic advance) for R.R. 40/50 car", copy of which, dated 27.5.24, has been passed to you in connection with a suggestion of your making up a magneto as nearly as possible to this specification, would you kindly note that we have decided to alter the figure of 450 r.p.m. in par: No.3, to 600 r.p.m., so that the sentence now reads:-

" The automatic advance should commence at a speed not greater than 600 r.p.m..... etc."

This alteration will make it easier for you to arrange the desired advance characteristic.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
