He would like, however, a thin nut used for securing the spindle of the grip, and also a countersunk screw for the lubricating hole in this spindle. The gauge of the metal tube for the grip should also be made lighter. The bore of the starting shaft at the butted end can be a little larger within the tapered portion, and within the threaded portion so as to make it easier for the butting operation on the tube.
