H.E. West, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
D E R B Y.

Dear Mr. West,

Four Car Manufacturers have included radio on a percentage of their car output. They are catering for the entertainment of their customers and this will sell more cars for them, bringing extra profits.

The time has come for radio to be included by ALL car manufacturers as optional or original equipment, because the public wants it.

Over 17,000 Philco Car Radio receivers have been installed to date in the British Isles and with the recent increase in car registrations our sales volume also has mounted rapidly.

It gives us real pleasure, therefore, to be able to announce A NEW BRITISH-MADE DUAL-WAVE RECEIVER MODEL K627 AT THE UNPRECEDENTED LOW PRICE OF 14 GUINEAS. Details of the new set are enclosed.

Car radio at 14 guineas is now well within the reach of all pockets. Twenty-two Car Manufacturers in Great Britain are recommending Philco Car Radio, four of whom are already equipping part of their output as optional equipment.

We should welcome the opportunity to demonstrate to you this new receiver, which you will find can be easily housed behind the instrument panel. At the same time you might care to discuss the most suitable type of aerial for your range of cars.

Further, we would be very pleased to loan you a set, for installation in one of your staff cars for purposes of test.

Yours very truly,

Manager
CAR RADIO DIVISION.
