Something must be done to shew that we are giving reasonably good HP. from these engines.
(1) Perhaps we are a little low to obtain our other qualities.
(2) Perhaps we do not shew what we have got: therefore improve (1) and then shew it.

Everyone must discourage heavy carriage work on the 20 HP., or great windage, or great overhang at the back, because it makes a bad slow car. I would sooner make a longer chassis and have a narrow long body for six seats - i.e. wide only, as on my standard (original Beatonson-Young).

Nearly everyone is fitting their cars with cast dashes, and instrument boards (more or less small) carried from the dash. It is not correct that we cannot do it, providing the scuttle is rigidly built, which has mislead us in the past.

We should decide whether it is opportune to make a technical review of our points of quality, such as silence, and smoothness, caused by features (1) and (2), low speed performance, pulling at slow speed and picking up, and absence of necessity of changing gear etc.etc.etc. Make review after working hard to improve such qualities.
