To B.J. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} C. to WGV. PN.{Mr Northey} By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} CWB. X8170 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/LG26.10.26. PHANTOM WITHOUT THROTTLE GOVERNOR. X8140 Replying to BJ10/E22.10.26. We could very easily cut out the governor on any Phantom car. We suggest however it would be a better test if we arranged to do it on one of the London cars on which the characteristics of the car are thoroughly well known. We could send a man to carry out this work in London and instruct the people there how to replace the standard parts, if they are required. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
