The following parts were satisfactory and suitable for Standardisation:-

EB.2927 Cylinder block produced by Midland Cylinder Co. Sheet Issued.

EB.2216 Large Oil Pump. 22° Helical gears. Standardised. Reported noisy when cold.

Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}260. EB.3256 Valve springs produced in Swedish wire by Tempered Spring Co. Sheet Issued.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CHM. "Palmetto" packing in water pump gland. Sheet Issued.

EB.2737 Main bearings in A.C.2. Sheet Issued.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Aluminised front expansion box. Sheet issued with modification to collar which failed in France.

GL.{G. Linnett}833 Modification to lubrication of rear brake actuating shafts. Sheet awaiting Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}'s approval. The bearings of the front and rear toggle shafts were badly worn as usual.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} Ferodo B.Z. for brake liners. Sheet issued.

Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale} Brake drums with increased cooling ribs. Sheet issued specifing Milenite material.
