Re Spring Links. - X.433

Na{Mr Nadin} 30-6-13.

You recently forwarded us a letter from Mr Spinney, to which was attached one from Mr Royce re alteration to spring links for chassis 1560 Richards, and you asked whether this was Mr Chandler's matter.

We wish to state that Mr Royce's memo arose out of a report of our own re complaint from customer, made at the beginning of April.

In the meantime customer's springs have been altered and other bushes fitted, and customer wrote on May 19th :-

"I am pleased to let you know how very
"different my car rides since you have
"changed the springs. I have several times
"thought there was something decidedly wrong
"and put it down to the spring setting.
"The increased clearance she now has makes
"a very great difference in the comfort on
"a rough road, doubtless the springs were
"always on the light side.
"My best thanks are due to you for the
"trouble you have taken to put matters right".

Under these cirustances we think we had better keep Mr Royce's memo and only make use of same in the event of a further complaint being forthcoming.
