MERLIN SPARKING PLUGS.

We have now succeeded in getting Messrs. K.L.G.& Lodge Plugs, Ltd., to agree regarding the dimensions of sparking plugs which they are supply for our Merlin engines. This agreement is important of course owing to the fact that the terminal fitting on the inlet side of the E engine requires the plugs to be uniform in dimension.

The dimensions which both firms have now agreed upon are as follows :-

1.675" plus 25 from the top of the cone nut terminal to the gasket face of the plug.

.857" from the top of the cone nut to the top face of the gland nut.

Will you please arrange for the Merlin E terminal fitting to conform to these dimensions.
