P.2. STARTER MOTOR PINIONS.

We have been testing starter motor pinions made in aluminium bronze with very little success owing to the softness of the alloy.

We noticed the Bosch starter motors were fitted with pinions made apparently in a similar allow and we have got the material analysed by HL. and we attach herewith copy of his report.

Will you please arrange to instruct two P.2. sequence starter motor pinions to be made up in this alloy for experimental test.
