It was agreed we fit suggested material to the accelerator pedal, and Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} will supply necessary scheme for experimental test. GY. STATES: (N) Insulating Acc. Pedal. Ex. Cut-out. 7120 ------- The suggestion by Cy. to omit (from the 200 chassis) the cut-out was agreed to. Cy. suggests that the Blanking Plate be dished to avoid resonance. This is already done. GY. STATES: Omit. (avoid metallic noise in Silencer). Dash Brackets & Footboards. 7130 F.80805. GY. STATES: 1. See notes on Bonnet. Item (1) is dealt with in Section 6280. 2.(A-P) Footboard will need modifying for dimming switch. Item (2) is provided for in Item (2) Page 4. 3. Preventing gases from coming up past G.B.Tower and Handbrake Lever. Item (3) refers to the blocking up of the holes in the Footboards, and it was agreed Cy. and Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} would consider this. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} believes it will prove unnecessary with present position of Handbrake Lever. In any case, it can best be arranged by Coachbuilder. C.G.L. System. 7141 F.81269.
