(Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} asks for sample).

Side Steering Tube.

Cy. stated he is quite satisfied with our Side Steering Tube. Test on P.II cars already in U.S.A. show it to be suitable for American Winter conditions.

Petrol Tank.

1. (A) Hinged Cap.
1. Agreed Hinged Cap is already on the Experimental cars.

2. (N) Requires to be quick-filling.
2. Cy. stated he had talked this matter over with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and he is now satisfied.

3. (N) Possible change to gauge. (Improved K.S. or Nivex).
3. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} stated we have nothing better than our present standard fitting at the moment for the first 200 chassis, but matter is having his attention. Cy. said he thought the K.S. Hobson Gauge with the shorter scale would suit horizontal lay-out, and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and Cy. will investigate the possibility of supplying this. (See Section 7190 Inst. Board).

4. (N) Possible omission of strainer.
4. After discussion it was agreed the strainer should remain in the tank.
