Continue with exhaust system comparisons as discussed. Include also an analysis of present Bentley system. Unit to be removed as soon as bearing unit is ready.

B.4 UNIT.

Unit for bearing endurance is equipped with Nos.1, 3, 5, and 7 die cast AC.9. Nos. 2, 4 and 6 centri-cast main bearings.

3 Big ends centri cast AC.9 and 3 die cast.

Tin plated pistons are to be fitted if available.

Endurance to consist of 20 hrs. at oil inlet temp. of 120°C. Each hour 30 mins. 4000, 25 mins. 4250, 5 mins. 4500. 7 hrs. full load, 2 hrs. ½ load, and 1 hour ¼ load.
