Messrs. Peto & Radford,

London, S.W.1.

Dear Sirs,

We duly received yours of the 3rd inst. ref. M/5. telling us of your experiments in charging voltages. The reason we have not previously answered is that the undersigned has been away until Thursday last.

We certainly agree that it will be an advantage to reduce the charging voltage if possible as every little bit in that direction enables us to set our generators to slightly higher output for the same degree of heating. We shall therefore be pleased to hear from you as to what you propose to offer us in this direction.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
