Dear Mr. Sessions,

Many thanks for your letter of the 4th inst.

I note that the pump will not be completed until Tuesday next. Does this mean that we shall not receive same until Wednesday or Thursday?

With regard to the rams, we can do with 2 sets as soon as possible, you will note from the list of junctions sent to you that only 3 are required. Will you please notify your Works; otherwise we shall accumulate a stock of unwanted junctions.

The copperpiping we require for the jacking system is as follows :-

1/4" with .175" bore ) R.R.
5/16" with .240" bore ) standard tubing.

This we obtain from Messrs. Booths, Argyle Street, Birmingham.

Attached is specification as requested. You will see that under the heading of "Notes" No.2 is not applicable to this particular tubing. However, I have no doubt that Booths will be able to give you any further information you require.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
