We thank you for your letter of the 21st inst., and note that you have developed a new alloy for main bearings, and that you wish to supply this material in preference to your A.C.7. Alloy.

We shall be pleased to carry out our experiments on this new material and shall be glad if you will indicate to us the delivery date as we are holding an engine for this particular test.
