Replying to CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}2/KB.8.10.35. We have no supplies of mounts available. We will, however, prepare 3 sets and send them down to be fitted to the Trials Cars. The loss of H.P. and hence maximum speed with this mount is negligible. Whilst we do not have the opportunity of trying a great many New 20/25 HP. cars, our experience has been that no more than 10% suffer from this exhaust boom; possibly JLL. will confirm whether this is so or not. With a view to standardisation, we are co-operating with the Design Dept. with a view to getting a scheme suitable for production. HE/Rs.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary} | ||
