I had an opportunity this morning of trying the latest snout selected for curing this boom, and there is no doubt that it does more or less effectually silence this. In view of this, is it proposed, please, to standardise this on the 20/25 h.p. model ? It seems to us that such a course is necessary, as I suppose we can assume that most cars would offend in respect of exhaust boom at 30 m.p.h. If a number of these snouts are available we should like to have a set of three for our present Trials Cars. Can we presume that there is not sufficient restriction in the outflow of the gasses to affect the maximum speed of the car ? Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Awb | ||
